We carefully select wineries on our tours to ensure the highest quality experience possible. Each of these superb wineries takes special care to make sure our guests receive a memorable and personal experience.

West Side of Cayuga Lake

Buttonwood Grove WineryA family owned winery producing fantastic expressions of classic Finger Lakes varietals like Riesling, Chardonnay, and Cabernet, but also throwing in some unique selections such as pet nat and classic sparkling.

Six Eighty Cellars: Six Eighty Cellars overlooks Cayuga Lake with stunning views outside  and even more stunning wines inside that push the boundaries of winemaking with alternative fermentation vessels such as concrete eggs and clay amphorae.

Sheldrake Point Vineyard: One of the original 100% vinifera wineries on Cayuga Lake that  produce of some of the most well-respected and enjoyed wines in the Finger Lakes region.

Bet The Farm Winery & Market: Bet The Farm is a small boutique farm winery where owners Kit and Nancy sharing their passion and palate for lesser-known Finger Lakes varietals like Dornfelder, Traminette, and Gamay.

West Side of Seneca Lake

Billsboro Winery: This idyllic winery, located on 28 acres overlooking Seneca Lake, is committed to crafting dry classic European varietal wines grown by Seneca Lake’s best vineyards.

Fox Run Vineyards: This family owned vineyard offers in-depth tours of the vineyard and winemaking facility and a Café that features a fully house-made menu with produce from our garden. Fox Run has been on the forefront of the region’s emergence as a word-class appellation of cool-climate Vinifera wines.

Anthony Road Wine Company: With 3 vineyards, Anthony Road has a wine for every taste, from dry to sweet. Anthony Road is best known for their delicious white wines, and their entertaining tasting room staff.

Barnstormer Winery: Located in a historic barn with roots stemming back to the early 1800′s, Barnstormer is small boutique winery producing exclusive, small-batch vinifera wines.

Lakewood Vineyards: Three generations of the Stamp family run this diverse winery, producing some of the Finger Lakes’ most award-winning wines. Lakewood offers over 7 varieties of wine, their most recognized wine being their Riesling.

East Side of Cayuga Lake

Heart and Hands Wine Co.  Considered by many to be the best pinot noir in the finger lakes.  With an intense focus, they produce only pinot noir, riesling and chardonnay.

Long Point WineryAn east side gem featuring wines less seen in the Finger Lakes like Zinfindel, Sangiovese, and Sauvignion Blanc.  Generously prepared deli sandwiches are made onsite to enjoy with their stunning view.

Constantia Wine Company: Constantia Wine Company is a micro-producer of small batch, handcrafted wine with small tasting room in the village of Aurora. Wines are elegant and delicious and you’ll spend time with the winemaker/owner when you visit.

East Side of Seneca Lake

Silver Thread Vineyard: Since the 1980s, this winery has been providing small-scale, handcrafted Riesling, Pinot Noir, Gerwurztraminer, and Cabernet Franc.

Flatt Rock Wine Cellars: A new family owned vineyard and winery, Flatt Rock focuses on dry reds and Vinifera grapes.

Red Newt: On Seneca Lake’s east shore, Red Newt provides an array of red and white wines to try in their tasting room, and generous local cheese and charcuterie boards  in “the Bistro.”

Forge Cellars:  Premium winery co-owned by French winemaker Louis Barroul  with a primary focus on vineyard-specific riesling.  Limited amounts of Pinot noir, cab franc, and chardonnay also available.  Reservations required for guided tastings.  Salon for wines by the glass, cheese, charcuterie and tinned fish.

Damiani Wine Cellars: A relatively new winery, Damiani has built a reputation and following for its hand-crafted, full-bodied Vinifera Reds.

Hillick and Hobbs:  Estate vineyard and winery owned by famous “flying winemaker” Paul Hobbes.  Production is focused exclusively on riesling.  Wines from his other estates are available for tasting.

Keuka Lake Wineries

Dr. Konstantin Frank Wine Cellars: The original vinifera winery of the Finger Lakes that has been making stellar wines for over 50 years.

Heron Hill Vineyards: This beautiful winery boasts a magnificent tasting room, fabulous wines, and farm to table cuisine.

Weis Vineyards: Germany-born Winemaker Hans Peter Weis traveled to the U.S. on a quest to discover the world, stumbling upon his home away from home in the Finger Lakes.  With the unique minerality to FLX soil, he is able to pursue his passion of handcrafting traditional German style wines for all to enjoy.

 

Other Notable Producers: Cayuga Lake

Finger Lakes Cider House:  Incredible craft hard cider from multiple FLX producers located on a bucolic farm. A perfect lunch stop!

Other Notable Producers: Ithaca

Liquid State Brewing:  Brewery and taproom located on the West End of Ithaca with great lineup of beers and a classic Ithaca vibe. They also make make their own THC seltzers and have a regular selection of FLX ciders and wine. 

Ports of New York: A hidden gem by the Cayuga inlet and maker of french-inspired Meleau specialty ports and table wines.

South Hill Cider: This producer of excellent craft ciders has created a destination for locals to relax and enjoy excellent ciders with paired cheese and charcuterie plates.

Other Notable Producers: Seneca Lake

Boundary Breaks Wine: Nestled within the farmland of the Finger Lakes, this vineyard is committed to estate grown Riesling of all types as well as different expressions of Cabernet Franc.

Finger Lakes Distilling: The region’s only stand-along distillery focuses exclusively on distilled spirits made from local ingredients. All their excellent products are distilled from scratch in small batches.

Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard: Wiemer is considered one of the top Riesling producers in the United States, and was recognized by Wine & Spirits Magazine as one of the top 100 American wineries for 2014.

Kemmeter Wines: This is a boutique winery of Johannes Rienhardt, who comes from a wine-making family in Germany that has been making wines since the mid 15th century. He left Germany, and moved to the Finger Lakes to express his own vision of fine wine making.

Lamoreaux Landing Wine CellarsLamoreaux is one of the most beautiful wineries and vineyards in the region, and their wines are as equally stunning.

Lucky Hare Brewing Company: Initially focusing on ales, Lucky Hare looks to create hand crafted beer that reflects not only their passion for great beer but also the Finger Lakes & its community.

Red Tail Ridge Winery: Red Tail Ridge is recognized by the New York Times, Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast as one of the best producers in the region. Winemaker Nancy Irelan has made a name in the region for exploring grape varieties not seen anywhere else in the region, like the German Dornfelder and the Italian Teroldego in addition to more classic Finger Lakes varietals.

Standing Stone Vineyards: A stunning winery that sits on some of the oldest vineyards in the Finger Lakes, giving them exceptional fruit to make their exceptional wines.
