This full-day curated wine tour delivers three exceptional winery experiences on Seneca Lake. Experience premium tastings  at three sommelier-vetted wineries. Taste wine in the vineyard, learn how to pair wine with chocolate, and explore vintage library wines.

Curated tours of 4-6 guests are private tasting experiences at each winery. Parties of two could include a second party of two at each of your tastings. We book the reservations for you and send you the itinerary complete with times of each reservation. We give you vetted recommendations for lunch and transportation.

All The Details:

You will begin at Lakewood Vineyards on the westside of Seneca Lake where a team member will take you on a guided walk through their vineyards while you taste the wines from the vines you learn about along the way. Lakewood Vineyards is owned and operated by three generations of the Stamp family. This year they celebrate 35 years of making wine in the Finger Lakes. (Please wear appropriate shoes for walking in the vineyards).

After a break for lunch (we recommend our favorite places), you will visit two wineries on the east side of Seneca Lake. At Damiani Wine Cellars you will be delighted by their views, hospitality, and wines of character. Damiani is known for consistently having some of the best red wines in the region. Your exclusive tasting will explore their award-winning red and white varietal wines paired with local artisan chocolates curated together with our sommelier.

Your last stop is Silver Thread Vineyard for a special Library tasting in their private Wine Cellar. Owners Paul and Shannon Brock have been recognized for their sustainable and bio-intensive farming practices in their vineyard. During your Library Tasting, you will explore a flight of 3-4 library and limited edition wines specifically selected by one of Silver Thread’s owner-winemakers. Library wines are bottle-aged and reserve wines. Wines will be paired with local artisan cheese. You also will have the opportunity to taste up to 3 current release wines in addition to the library flight.

Transportation Recommendations

We are partnering with two reputable transportation companies vetted for their excellent service.  At your request when you book your tour, they will contact you to get transportation needs all taken care of.

Quality Wine Tours (585-455-8294) offers transportation for parties of 2-6 guests Mondays through Saturdays.

Main Street Drivers (888-327-4460) provides drivers who meet you at your accommodation and drive you in your vehicle to all of your appointments.
