This full-day curated wine tour delivers three exceptional experiences on Northwest Seneca Lake.

• Discover the history of  the Finger Lakes wine region with an exclusive 2-hour wine class with our owner and Sommelier at Once Finger Lakes.
• Experience a behind the scenes vineyard and production tour and tasting at Anthony Road Wine Company.
• Learn how to pair wine with chocolate at Billsboro Winery.

The day includes an upgraded tasting lunch at Once during your wine class. All three locations are only minutes from downtown Geneva, so either drive yourself or take advantage of our  transportation recommendations below.

We take care of all reservations and payments and send you the itinerary complete with times of each reservation.

All The Details:

You will begin at ONCE Finger Lakes (pronounced “OWN-say”, which means “eleven” in Spanish). This regional wine tasting room features wines from some of the most notable Finger Lakes wineries. You will enjoy an immersive 2-hour class hosted by our owner, sommelier, and author Laura Winter Falk, about the History of the Finger Lakes in 6 Glasses. Learn about the key role that cider has played in the region’s history, the importance of traditional-method sparkling winemaking, how hybrids helped the industry survive and thrive post-prohibition, the vinifera revolution that catapulted the region to the world stage, and today’s modern trends. The views are amazing and the wines are breathtaking. A tasting lunch will be provided for you to enjoy during the class along with the featured beverages. The wine class is limited to only 10 people maximum for a truly intimate learning experience.

After your wine class, take the 2-minute drive to Anthony Road Wine Company. John and Ann Martini moved to Anthony Road in 1973 “at the urging of a friend that touted the joys of grape growing in the Finger Lakes.” Over 40 years later, the second generation has fully committed themselves to the continuation of the quality foundation laid by their parents. Meet members of this winemaking family, tour their on-premise garden and production facility, and taste their stellar wines created by winemaker Peter Becraft.

Your last stop is Billsboro Winery for a special  elevated tasting featuring 4 wines paired with 4 locally-crafted artisan chocolates plus a sparkling welcome wine.  Their chocolatier, Cary Becraft of CaryMo chocolates crafts the chocolates to pair specifically with 4 curated selections of Billsboro’s wines. Owned by winemaker Vinny and Kim Aliperti, Billsboro wines have been lauded in many national publications including Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast.

We are partnering with two reputable transportation companies vetted for their excellent service.  At your request when you book your tour, they will contact you to get transportation needs all taken care of.

Quality Wine Tours (585-455-8294) offers transportation for parties of 2-6 guests Mondays through Saturdays.

Main Street Drivers (888-327-4460) provides drivers who meet you at your accommodation and drive you in your vehicle to all of your appointments.
