Natural History Hike Through Cascadilla Gorge

Breathtaking Cascadilla Gorge connects downtown Ithaca with the Cornell University campus. Join us on a 1.75 mile round trip hike through the charming stone paths and stairs of the gorge to arrive in the heart of bustling “Collegetown.” On the way back down, we’ll explore part of the Cornell University campus and pass through a creekside neighborhood that overlooks the gorge. This hike is somewhat strenuous with stairs and steep paths, but the group will take a leisurely pace. It’s suitable for ages 8 and up.
