This one-of-a-kind, full-day tour combines the two delights of west cayuga lake: our gorges and waterfalls and our world-class wines.
Quick Details
Breathtaking Cascadilla Gorge connects downtown Ithaca with the Cornell University campus. Join us on a 1.75 mile round trip hike through the charming stone paths and stairs of the gorge to arrive in the heart of bustling “Collegetown.” On the way back down, we’ll explore part of the Cornell University campus and pass through a creekside neighborhood that overlooks the gorge. This hike is somewhat strenuous with stairs and steep paths, but the group will take a leisurely pace. It’s suitable for ages 8 and up.
Departure Location
Meet your guide at the Treman Triangle Park in downtown Ithaca, near the intersection of Court and Linn Streets. Please Note: Transportation to and from the departure location is not provided. Be sure to leave ample time to find parking. There is limited, nearby street parking, some of which requires payment during weekdays between 9am and 6pm (pay attention to locally posted signs.)
