Winter, Wine, and Munch Tour
On this tour, guests have the opportunity to experience some of the best wine from the region in an intimate setting. The wineries for your tour will be selected based on availability and timing and will include three producers, an interactive guided tour, curated wine selections, and experiential food pairings. For more information on which wineries we visit for this tour, please see the drop-down below.
Our first stop will include an in depth pairing experience with library wine selections. You will learn about the process of making wine from soil to grape to bottle and what makes on vintage different than another. Your curated tasting experience will be with a senior tasting room associate, owner or winemaker.
Next we will visit two other wineries for guided tastings curated with plated pairings from artisan cheese to locally crafted chocolate. You will be fully immersed in the warmth of stunning food and wine pairings.
Once a tour begins to book, partners will be selected for that day. The names of the partners will be added in the booking calendar. Due to the natural variability of the off-season these may be subject to change.

Depending on the pick-up locations selected and the partner availability 3 of the following producers will be included:
On Cayuga Lake
Buttonwood Grove Winery has been owned by Dave and Melissa Pittard since 2014. They host us beautifully any time of year with a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the vineyard and/or winemaking process. After your tour, you will experience a private tasting, featuring a curated wine list with a local cheese pairing.
Six Eighty Cellars where you will receive a curated flight and nibbles. Enjoy the views and check out the innovative vessels used to make their wine. Explore the variety of wine-making styles of Ian Barry and the multiple types of vessels used in the making of these exceptional wines.
Bet The Farm is the boutique winery of owner and winemaker Nancy Tisch and owner and general manager Kit Kalfs. It is a wonderful stop with great views, amazing hospitality and fabulous wines. Being hosted by an owner is amplified by their stories and masterfully curated pairings. Savor some of their first vintages of estate wines as well as their award winning blends.
On Seneca Lake:
Experience a special production tour at Damiani Wine Cellars. Be captivated by an elevated, private wine tasting paired with locally-made, hand-crafted chocolate, carefully curated to match Damiani’s award-winning red and white varietal wines. Damiani is known for consistently having some of the best red wines in the region.
At Lakewood Vineyards the concept of a family winery and vineyard is felt throughout their space. You will learn about the process of making wine from soil to grape to bottle to wine glass. They will provide a vineyard and or production tour that will guide you through the evolution of their family-run vineyards and winery. After the tour you will have a curated tasting experience with a member of the Lakewood family. Owned by the Stamp family since the 1950’s you will benefit from their family knowledge of agriculture as well as wine producing while you sip their wines from the deck or tasting room.
Barnstormer Winery is a unique stop with a welcoming feel. You will be enveloped by their hospitality and personal touches. Located in a historic barn with roots stemming back to the early 1800′s, Barnstormer is small boutique winery producing exclusive, small-batch vinifera wines. You will enjoy their lounge and a guided flight with their knowledgable team.
Another stunning flight of wines waits for you at Flatt Rock Cellars. Owners Dave and Darla Flatt will greet you in the tasting room or barrel room. Dave then guides you through a tasting that celebrates the winemaking-style of France, particularly beautiful bottle-aged reds. A locally-made chocolate is paired with a specially-selected red wine to showcase the magic of a carefully curated wine pairing.
